Youth Art Enrichment has now completed it's eleventh sucessful year!

In November 2011, 42 artistically inclined high school students travelled from across the Yukon to Dawson City to take part in four days of intensive workshops with a professional artist. Students chose one of four courses to study for the duration of the program, in which they honed their skills through daily exercises and explored creative ways to express their ideas.

The following workshops were offered this year: Hand Papermaking with Helen O'Connor, Video Production with Dan Sokolowski, Printmaking with Meshell Melvin and Soapstone Carving with Bud Young,

In January 2012 Student work was exhibited at Robert Service School in Dawson City and will next be exhibited in the Yukon Arts Centre in the April 6-28, 2012. Scroll down to view our online gallery of student work.
