Yukon Riverside Arts Festival

The Yukon Riverside Arts Festival is an annual KIAC summer event that takes place on Dawson City’s Discovery Days weekend. The festival is primarily based outdoors in open-air tents along the Yukon River, but events also take place at numerous venues around town.

Artists travel to Dawson from across the Yukon, NWT, and Alaska to share unique Northern artwork and crafts in the art fair, teach workshops, and take part in special events such as film screenings and concerts.  The festival also highlights Dawson artists and musicians in the Gallery Hop and the local performer stage at the riverside Gazebo. In conjunction with Arts Fest, the ODD Gallery hosts The Natural & The Manufactured, an annual thematic project that presents exhibitions, lectures, and artist residencies to explore issues related to art and the environment.

Through these exhibitions and events, the festival invites visitors of all ages to engage with Dawson and the North by interacting and creating with our many talented artists.
